  • Yes. For clients located in North Carolina, I accept Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS), Carelon Behavioral Health, Quest Behavioral Health, Optum, and United Healthcare. For clients in other PSYPACT states, sessions are available on a private-pay basis.

  • If you are using insurance in North Carolina, your out-of-pocket cost will depend on your plan’s copay or coinsurance. For private-pay clients, my fee is $200. I’m happy to provide a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement if applicable.

  • Yes. I provide therapy exclusively via secure video sessions. This allows me to meet with you wherever you are — whether in North Carolina or in another PSYPACT state where I’m authorized to practice.

  • Yes! Thanks to an agreement called PSYPACT, I’m authorized to provide online therapy to clients in over 40 states beyond North Carolina. This means that even if you don’t live in NC, there’s a good chance I can still work with you.

If you’re located in a participating PSYPACT state, we can meet virtually just as if you were here in North Carolina. If you’re unsure whether your state is included, you can check the full list on my Out-of-State page.

  • All you need is a quiet, private space and a stable internet connection. I’ll send you a secure link before each session that you can open from your computer, tablet, or phone.

  • I specialize in men’s issues, attachment disorders, anxiety, depression, work stress, relationship concerns, self-esteem, anger, and addiction. Together, we’ll create a tailored plan to address your needs and goals.

  • Individual therapy sessions are typically 55 minutes. Initial evaluations may run a bit longer so we can cover your history, goals, and treatment plan.

  • I ask for at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a cancellation fee.

  • Yes. Everything you share is confidential, with a few exceptions required by law (such as concerns about safety). I’ll review these limits with you during our first session so you know exactly what to expect.

  • You can schedule a free 15-minute consultation directly through my website. This gives us a chance to discuss your needs and see if we’re a good fit before beginning therapy.
